Barney Panda

Ergh… I think I’m catching a flu =_=” *sniiiiifffff*sniff*….
Went to 1 Borneo this afternoon for the Adidas Sports Performance and Heritage Concept Store launching.
Heh =P  *never thought that the goodie bag might be that cool ^^*
I know BB is very happy to be receiving a Adidas shirt, sports thumb drive and few other little Adidas stuff. *Me too! XD *

*don’t you just love being a media~* … HOHOHOHOHO!

I WAS SO HAPPY to be meeting NAZ again. And Daphne Iking, my seniour back in convent school is still indeed a one HOT nerd. (Hey… I didn’t simply label her a nerd Okay~ she told me she’s meeting up with her nerd group after the launching XD)

Yolanda told me a story about her experience teaching some foreign students on how to speak English. The story just blew me away I just* gotta tell you in person.

Oh yeah… See the maroon outfit I wore?

Being a pelupa person… *bless you I didn’t label you as nyanyuk yet buddy >=(* BB asked me the same question AGAIN similar to what he asked the first time he saw me wearing it.

“Baju baru?”, he asked
“tsk tsk tsk.. bad memory B… baaaad memory….”, I replied
“Wellllll~~~.. Sorrrrrry.. it’s not that I get to see you everyday in a barney suit”
“WH…WHAT???”

Then he started singing… =_=”

“I love u.. u love me.. we are happy family...”
*wth
*………… HMP!!!!”

So I ignored him and went to the washroom…
But he just wouldn’t give it a rest =_=”

*got out from the washroom*

“Hi Kids... I'm Barney… Look at me! XD”, while doing the stupid and retarded Barney action
“...........” *ignoring*

“I love you~ You love me~~”
“………………
*twitch*……”

“We are happy family…. *continues*”
“…………*twitch**twitch*………

“(???) Eh... NOOO!!!!! NOOOO!!!!
ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

And for that.. he got bruises all over his man boobs…

*Sigh..

Vengeance is sweet…

I am so satisfied…

Oh! I also went to the Malam Kebudayaan Indonesia Sabah 2008 last night with my parents and Yuni Shara was there XD I never knew that she was Krisdayanti’s big sis.

She looks sooooo beautiful. Both of the siblings are gorgeous actually, but I gotta say I love seeing Yuni more. Despite being a mother of two, with that slim figure, no one can tell XD

All pictures from the Malam Kebudayaan Indonesia - Sabah '08 are courtesy of my friend Richard Chin.

Thanks dude.

*fyi, I forgot to charge my camera and it died after the fashion show =_=” ..

Fine~~~ lesson learned…. XD

Baby Kenji meets Int. Cat Show 2008

A week ago, my long awaited new baby Kenji has finally arrived!

Yup! Kenji is the Canon G9 that I’ve been wanting since months ago ^^

I bought him for RM1699 from the last PIKOM pc fare (Initial price RM2099) and I truly love it!
Love it! Love it! and Love it!

I can throw him in my bag anytime, point and snap anytime and the images are just sooo coooooool~ ^^

For Kenji’s first assignment, I took him out for the International Cat Show 2008 event last Sunday.

With the lack of flash accessory as well as dark environment, Kenji was having a tough but enjoyable time regardless.

And just like me, he loves seeing cats too!

There were the big ones, the long ones, the short ones, the fat ones, the skinny ones, the togel ones… A LOT! And they were soooooooooooo cuteeeeee XD XD XD

Even the judges had a tough time selecting the winners.

During the event, I also saw 2 human beings with a tail on them.

This is the cute version:

This is the bidak (ugly) version:

LOL! I remember that Sarah and I used to have one of this ‘ekor’ back in primary school. BUT*, we looked cute because we were kids. Unlike this guy… he looks more of a… twin version of Abu Bakar Ela.

Anyhow, of all the pictures, I'd have to say that I like this one the most:

Sangat muka malas weh... XD LOL!

Whatever it is, I hope there’ll be an International Dog Show soon...

or else... our friend here won’t be too... happy ^^ kan?

Cheerios! XD

Escape to Bali - part 3

Ok… this will be my last post for my Escape to Bali trip coz I have soooo many other things to talk about later….i.e. I want to talk about the cat show la… my new ‘anak’ la… and yada yada yada…

Anyhow, like I mentioned, during my trip to Bali, our tour guide, Pak Rizal brought us to Chandra Budaya Stage to watch the Sahadewa – Barong and Kris Dance.

The Barong Play *click here if you want to know the story* represents an eternal fight between the good and evil spirits.

A Barong (a mythological animal) represents good spirit...

*the good guy*

...and Rangda (a mythological monster) on the other hand represent the eeeeeevil one...

*the baaaaaad guy*

To cut long story short, this play is mainly based on the epic legend of Ramayana which plays a very big role to the religion of the Balinese people.

Again, *click* here for the details of the play.

Below is the famous traditional Bali dance where you can see the dancer's eyes move up and down, left and right.

At times, I just couldn't stop being amazed or couldn't stop laughing XD

More photos from the play...

*this video is a bit out of focus coz the camera cari pasal.. grrrr >=(*

The play was funny nonetheless especially the last part where the boar appeared, fought and died with its tail stuck in between its leg XD

During the play, visitors were also entertained with a music overtone by the Gamelan Orchestra.

Oh! On the day itself coincidently, was the Bali ‘Hari Raya Galungan and Kuningan’, which is a 10 day celebration of fundamental importance on the Bali Hindu calendar and also the most interesting time for any tourists and visitors to visit.

What I truly like about this festivity is that there were a lot of ‘Penjor’ (a bamboo altar-poles) decorated along the streets which looks like... a giant dangling ketupat.

During this event, the villagers will walk in groups to the temple, pray and provide colourful offerings.

Remember 'Si putih’, the white puppy in Escape to Bali 2?

Yeah... he got scared when he saw the villagers parading in groups with *ting*tong*ting*tong* sound and a Barong beside them.

I don’t blame you dear... Even tho that Barong is a hero, but it still looks scary to me ><”
still somehow prefer our Chinese New Year Singa-Singa. LOL! XD

<!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]-->
Whatever it is, I had fun in Bali. I learned a lot and most importantly, I shopped like orang gila a lot. XD

Next up, Jakarta, Bandung and Manila!!! XD
Wheeeeeeeee~~~~~ XD

Sabahan Bloggers Gathering 2008

Another event went by and as one of the organizers,
I must say that I am so very delightful that the 2008 SBG went really well

I was tad disappointed that RTM
and some other invited medias weren’t around except for Breeze Magazine *sigh*. Maybe they were just too busy or maybe to them the Sabahan Bloggers Gathering is not as important without any big man or VIPs around. Pfft.

(but I swear I saw one photographer that looks like rtm people... but he registered himself as blogger)

Anyhow scrap that… what actually happened yesterday before the big event was a light rehearsal at Imperial International Hotel. Once again Dino treated us to lunch and as much as I always kick him around, he never fails to make sure that everyone is having a great time. Thanks Dino. *bah… I lah belanja you Tiramisu… tapi sotong bayar k?* Oh! Am loving how Imperial did the SBG deco as well

After getting my makeup and hair done, I managed to arrive just in time – 6.00pm SHARP (but 15 minutes late than what I promised Jacq.. ehehehehhe….) to assist Jacq for the guest registration session.

100 bags were all successfully given away BUT* I won’t say that they beat the Sabah time syndrome. LOL! Coz we only finished distributing all goody bags at 7.30pm!!! And the event supposedly starts at 7pm!!! Apa macam daaaaa~ Sabah time is still Sabah time.. tak boleh pakai~. LOL!!!!

The MC for the night was none other than DJ Selina Light and mua~.

MC of the night

It was a last minute plan to include myself as the second mc but boy… it was so much fun. Selina and I just couldn’t stop laughing and teasing each other in front of the crowd.

Speaking of the crowd, they were fantastically awesome

Selina and I thought that we had to go through another no respond Sabahan crowd like how Julian posted in his blog once, but No~ they were great! E.g. During the lucky draw, though we accidentally announced that they had to do something in order to win the price right before we called out their number, instead of sitting at the corner quietly, they got up and took the challenge. You guys are cool. Nuf said. Oh! Almost everyone is a winner that night too!

Salute goes to all 4 performers that night as well.

From the SIA group, to Chris and Rainer of the new Locust-DayDream band, Richado and his ‘Episod’ gang and last but not least my favourite, Terry Peter. His last song got most of the crowd dancing in front of the stage. You so keng lah Terry! Caya lah~

Since I’m still on my Detox diet, I could only eat fish last nite. I would never had eaten if it wasn’t for massy who kindly took few slices of fish meat for me. LOL!

But being an organizer, you can never really sit down and eat when you know you have to do MC and entertaining as well. Hence, I got headache for the rest of the night. Hungryyyyy… T-T
